Privacy

The GigaTap app is built around VPN/privacy access without advertising or hidden product analytics inside the client.

App posture

  • No advertising SDKs.
  • No analytics SDKs.
  • No crash or telemetry SDKs.
  • Diagnostics run locally and produce redacted results.
  • Subscription and config imports should be treated as private user material.

Formal privacy terms, site scope, and data rights requests are covered by the public Privacy Policy. Security contact details are covered by the Security Policy.

Practical guidance

  1. Keep subscription links and config files private.
  2. Share only redacted diagnostic output with support.
  3. Use the kill switch when you need traffic to stop if the VPN drops.
  4. Keep the app updated before troubleshooting old profile behavior.

GigaTap should be described as VPN/privacy access, not as a privacy or network-access promise beyond the published policy.
