GigaTap App

The GigaTap app is the first-party client for using GigaTap VPN on supported devices. It brings profile import, server selection, connection recovery, routing controls, diagnostics, and privacy-focused defaults into one product flow.

GigaTap is currently available for Windows, Linux, and Android. macOS and iOS are not available yet.

What the app does

• Connects through the GigaTap VPN service with supported protocol profiles.
• Helps choose and keep a working server with Smart Connection.
• Provides Protection mode for restrictive or unstable networks.
• Adds kill switch controls on supported platforms.
• Runs local, redacted connection diagnostics.
• Imports subscriptions and configs by link, QR, or file.
• Supports full-device VPN, proxy, LAN sharing, and split routing modes.
• Lets you export and import configs and settings for backup or transfer.
• Uses light and dark themes with a clean interface.

How to start

1. Make sure your GigaTap access is active.
2. Install the GigaTap app for Windows, Linux, or Android when it is offered for your platform.
3. Add a subscription or config from GigaTap by link, QR, or file.
4. Let Smart Connection pick a server, or choose one manually.
5. Connect and verify that your traffic uses the expected route.
